Philosophy of Leadership
As a building adminstrator, I share in the responsibility of strengthening the roots of our school.  Positive, focused, and collaborative leadership allows ideas, support, and energy to flow to all of our branches: teachers, students, staff, parents, and community. With this in place, we can do everything in our power to produce healthy, educated, powerful leaves: students. Leaders must establish strong and solid roots, so we can ensure a healthy tree will grow..

"Fair isn't everybody getting the same thing; Fair is everybody getting what they need in order to be successful."

"Good leaders make people feel they're at the very heart of things, not at the periphery.  Everyone feels that he or she makes a difference to the success of the organization.  When that happens, people feel centered and that gives their work meaning." - Warren Bennis

"I am not a teacher, but an awakener." - Robert Frost
