SACEP is one of 20+ PA Regional Career Education Partnerships (RCEPs) working to connect business and education in order to link youth to career and postsecondary exploration and awareness opportunities.
Please make note of a unique opportunity to take advantage of a free Virtual Career Fair which has been planned by our RCEP colleagues in Southeastern PA. The Virtual Career Fair is scheduled for May 4-6. The link to the schedule of events (and many other resources) is http://sepacareerfair2010.ning.com/.
Please note that individuals must complete a registration form (links are found at the site above) for EACH event they wish to attend. Participants will then receive a confirmation email that includes details on how to log in to the Webinar(s) for which they have registered.
All events are open to students, parents, and educators throughout PA. Although the SE PA region is sponsoring the event, the information in each of the Webinars is applicable to students and families in all areas of PA.

Our colleagues plan to record all of the Webinars and post them to our SE PA Virtual Career Fair wiki, along with additional resources, lessons, and activities that go with each of the Webinars. These, too, will be accessible to everyone in the state. Even if you can’t attend the live events, please check the wiki site above after the Virtual Career Fair.

"I am somebody; I am a champion."
This was said by Orrin Hudson on Friday, November 19th to our 7th and 8th graders during a motivational chess session. Hudson, who is a chess champion, an author and a motivational speaker, began a program 9 years ago on May 24th, with a goal to train one million young people to get their lives on the right track.
